How can I achieve translucent or opaque colors?

How opaque the epoxy appears is determined by the amount of pigment that is added and how thick the epoxy is applied. The more pigment that is added and the thicker the epoxy is applied, the more opaque it will appear.

- To create a color that is still transparent use our CastFX Liquid Colorant and add just a few drops (1/8tsp per 10 oz) of mixed epoxy.

- To achieve full opacity for coating applications, add the Cast FX liquid Colorant at 10% by volume or 12oz per mixed gallon of epoxy. The Epoxy Pigment Concentrates are also a good choice for achieving full opacity in thin coat applications.

- To achieve full opacity for casting applications, add the Cast FX Liquid colorant at 4oz per mixed gallon of epoxy.

What is the difference between CastFX Liquid Colorants and the Epoxy Pigment Concentrates?
