How do I mix large volumes of epoxy?

Best Results are achieved by using a drill, Jiffy Mixer Model HS-15, and a mixing container that is deep enough to fully submerge the mixing head.  Mix at low speed for 1-2 minutes then stop and scrape the sides and bottom of the container with a paint stick. Mix for 1-2 additional minutes to ensure a complete and thorough mix.

System Three Products that are low enough in viscosity to be mixed with a mechanical mixer are; RiverCast, MirrorCast, MirrorCoat, and Clear Coat.

Note that mixing larger volumes of epoxy with a mechanical mixer is possible, but there are some drawbacks to this method that you should be aware of before attempting.

Larger batches are more prone to excessive heat buildup which will dramatically shorten the pot life and potentially lead to wasted product.
